Here's a list of basic commands that will help with tweaking this way they are all in one place.
cg_drawfps 1 Shows your fps.
cg_lagometer 1 Displays the "lagometer" shows your connection to the server red lines are BAAD!
rate 25000 You can set the rate value lower but 25000 is the best it seems. I'm not %100 sure what the rate is exactly, but I know it has to do with how fast your computer processes the game, and if you set it low it will make gameplay choppy similar to a slide show without changing your fps.
com_maxfps <value>
cl_maxpackets <value> Default is 30. Most recommend 100. Max packets is the maximum number of messages your computer will send to the server the more people on the server the higher it will need to be or you will begin to notice lag.
cl_packetdup <value> Can be set 1-5 if I remember correctly. This is the number of times your computer will send the same packet to the server. The higher your ping is the higher you will want to set the packetdup. 1 for 50-70 2 for 70-100 3 for anything over 100, I wouldn't go any higher than 3 or it will likely raise your ping.
/bind <key> <say/name> <statement/name> I believe you can't have a space in your name but in statements you can have spaces.
COLORS! I don't think these are all accurate. To put the color into a name which will show up in chat you have to enter the number twice.
^^0 = BLACK
^1 = RED
^2 = GREEN
^3 = YELLOW
^4 = BLUE
^5 = TURQUOISE
^6 = VIOLET
^7 = WHITE
^8 = PINK
^7 = GREY
Oh and to "reload glitch" you fire a shot. Press your reload key. As soon as you see the number displaying the amount of ammunition in the gun go up switch weapons back and forth really fast, the scroll wheel is the fastest way to do this, then you are ready to fire again. The weapon switch is also an easy way to stop a reload without affecting the amount of ammunition in the weapon if you need to fire again. This can be exploited with bolt rifles to fire faster than intended which can be considered cheating on some servers, and I am guilty of it myself. *awkward smile*
